North Shore Racquet Club offers tennis drills, leagues, and match play for players of all ages and abilities. Our junior basketball program features year round co-ed basketball drills and leagues for ages 4 through 13 with over 20 independent classes per week.

Family Oriented Tennis & Basketball Since 1978
Established in 1961, North Shore Racquet Club (NSRC) is proud to be the oldest continuously operating indoor tennis facility in the Midwest. What began as a tennis club has grown into a vibrant, family-centered community that now includes Jerry Karzen Tennis and John Karzen Basketball—together offering championship teams, comprehensive junior and adult tennis development programs, junior basketball, fitness, and a wide range of recreational opportunities for all ages.
At the heart of everything we do is the “Karzen Way”: creating an enthusiastic, supportive, and positive environment where students and families can learn, grow, build confidence, and—most importantly—have fun along the way.
Led by Jerry Karzen, Brett Karzen, Becky (Karzen) Moffatt, Alex Cisneros, and Eben Abban, North Shore Racquet Club offers one of the most successful junior tennis programs in the Chicagoland area. We take pride in providing high-quality programs that balance skill development, confidence building, and a genuine love for the game. From summer camps and junior pathways to private lessons and tournaments, our goal is to create a positive, supportive experience for every player and every family.
